1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PDF is Love (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Dropouts ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer and publisher of PDF is Love. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

PDF is Love is an iOS application that provides PDF management and productivity tools, including but not limited to: merging, splitting, compressing, organizing, rotating, converting, editing, signing, password-protecting, unlocking, watermarking, OCR text recognition, scanning, creating, and repairing PDF files.

The App is designed for personal productivity use on Apple iPhone and iPad devices running iOS 16.0 or later. Availability of specific features may vary based on your device and iOS version.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Dropouts grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices you own or control for your personal, non-commercial use.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Free Tier

PDF is Love is free to download and includes a limited number of operations per day across various tools. Free tier limits apply to Organize, Convert, and Edit & Secure categories.

Pro Subscription Plans

PDF is Love Pro is available as a subscription in three durations:

Pro unlocks unlimited PDF organizing, unlimited conversions, unlimited editing and signing, and the ability to share and export files.

Free Trial

The Yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. No payment is required to start the free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, you will be automatically charged for the Yearly subscription.

Billing

All billing is handled by Apple through the App Store. Your subscription is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → PDF is Love → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Pro access until then.

Refunds

All subscription payments are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. Dropouts does not directly issue refunds. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Price Changes

We may adjust subscription prices at any time. Price changes take effect at the start of the next subscription period, and you will be notified in advance by Apple.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PDF is Love only for lawful purposes. You may not use the App to:

6. File Processing & Ownership

You retain full ownership of all files you process through PDF is Love. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you have the right to process the files you submit.

When conversion tools require server-side processing, your file is temporarily transmitted to our conversion service over an encrypted connection and deleted immediately after processing. We do not claim any ownership or rights over your files.

We make no warranty that Repair PDF or other recovery tools will successfully recover or restore any specific file. Use of such tools is at your own risk.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and all of its original content, features, functionality, design, and code are the exclusive property of Dropouts and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The "PDF is Love" name, logo, and brand identity are trademarks of Dropouts.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Dropouts' trademarks, logos, or branding in any manner without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dropouts disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dropouts and its directors, employees, partners, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or your current subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Third-Party Links & Services

The App may reference or link to third-party services (such as the Apple App Store or RevenueCat). These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and Dropouts is not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dropouts regarding your use of PDF is Love, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
